[birdky] Dams and Griffin

Tom Durbin and I made a trip to the tri-dams area on 19 January and were joined 
by Hap Chambers for part of the day with the following highlights:

BARKLEY
Glaucous Gull (first-cycle)

SMITHLAND
Canvasback
Greater Scaup
Common Merganser

KENTUCKY
Black Scoter (female-type)
Bald Eagle (quite a show with 12 in sight at one time below dam)
Glaucous Gull (2 first-cycle late pm, one of which could have been Barkley bird)
Thayer's Gull (first-cycle)
Lesser Black-backed Gull (adult and 2 second-cycle)
Ring-billed Gull (adult w/ yellow wing tags)
Glaucous x Herring (A third-cycle bird appearing to be of this mix)

GRIFFIN PARK/BOWLING GREEN  21 JANUARY
Gr. White-fronted Goose (3)
Canada Goose (600+ mostly B.c.interior)
Snow Goose (light and dark juvs)
Gadwall
Am Wigeon
Am Black
No Shoveler
No Pintail
Gr-winged Teal
Ring-necked
