Yesterday Les and I helped with a winter survey of birds in the Dewey
Lake/JennyWiley State Park area in Floyd County. As we were finishing up
our part near German Bridge, we encountered about 400 to 500 American
Crows in a very small old cornfield. And, we saw one lone Pied-billed
Grebe at the bridge!
Cheers, Joan Carr
