[birdky] Correction

The waterthrushes observed were in fact all Northern. Although I can readily
distinguish between waterthrush species I cannot seem to remember their names.

  Subject: [birdky] (RBA) Black-n Stilt

Observed a Black-necked stilt at Lower Beaver Dam Slough just a few minutes
ago. Water only recently receded enough to open the roads on much of Ballard
WMA. After an early morning turkey hunt, I drove the road across Mitchell lake
as far as the river pump. These roads were only opened today and are very
muddy. Where they are not very muddy they are extremely muddy. All
waterbodies are bank full but there are several nice shorebirds spots formed
from the overflow. The first "good spot" is at the levee between Mitchell and
Lower Beaver Dam. The stilt is only about 30 yards from the road in the
company of 16 solitary sp and 1 lesser yellowlegs. The "moist soil unit" just
west of Goose Pond also has several shorebirds that appeared to be yellowlegs,
solitary's and killdeer but I didn't have my scope. I would expect to find a
lot of good pools down around Happy Hollow and Cook Slough as well but I didn't
drive down that way. Other nice birds observed this morning were FOS scarlet
tanager and A. redstart. Also enjoyed singing Chats and Louisiana
waterthrushes in abundance. Fish crow numbers are very high as well.
