I went to Lexington Cemetary this am, not much activity. On my way home I
stopped at the arboretum. I spotted a large (female?) Cooper hawk with
something in her talons. I found her perching low in a nearby oak. For about
15 minutes I watched her play with the chipmonk she had caught. Her actions
were very much like a cat who had caught a mouse.Quite interesting.
