[birdky] Cedar Creek Lake, Lincoln Co.

Monday 10-16-2006

Diane and I went to Cedar Creek Lake today in the rain to look for any early waterfowl. Our most interesting birds were:

Pied-billed Grebe (20+) scattered groups of 5 to 6

Double-cr.Cormorant (10)

Great Egret (1) observed there for several weeks

American Coot (30+)

Dunlin (1) observed with several Killdeer at the "beach" area near the dam parking lot.

At home (2) RT hummers were observed this morning at the feeders, but only one was observed late today.
