I spent a few hours birding around Cave Run Lake this am.It was also nice to see Lana Hays there.The only shorebirds seen were Killdeer at the Hatchery.Some of the birds seen were: Hatchery: Surf Scoter-1 Female Pintail-2 Ring-necked Duck-4 Coot-8 Pied-billed Grebe-1 Osprey-1 Red-shouldered Hawk-1 Savannah Sparrow-2 Dam site: Pied-billed Grebe-12 Shallow Flats Ponds: American Wigeon Gadwall Pied-billed Grebe Yellow-rumped Warbler-6 David Patick,MD Huntington,WV 25701
