[birdky] Campbell Co. pipit

There was a lone American Pipit at the sports field on the Dayton, KY
riverfront today. No big deal for most, but the first I have been able to
garner
for the list for our mostly hilly county. It was gleaning insects (picked up a
few caterpillars) mainly in the grass by the gravel parking area, but also
spent some time with the Killdeer (12) in the middle of the field and perched a

bit on the chain link fence. Also 1 Wood Duck, 1 Great Blue Heron and 1
American Kestrel. Yesterday there was 1 Great Egret at A.J. Jolly Park (also
in
Campbell Co.) as well as 1 Yellow-throated Warbler, 2 Palm Warblers, 4
Yellow-rumped Warblers, 2 Bay-breasted Warblers, 2 Magnolia Warblers and 1
Nashville
Warbler, the warblers were mainly in the oaks (I am watching a
Black-throated Green Warbler flitting through my neighbor's hackberry tree as
I write this
post).
