[birdky] Campbell Co., KY gleanings

5 Savannah Sparrows at the NKU campus, where the vespers were several days
earlier.
One Pine Warbler in the 120-130 year old Austrian pines (I just recounted the
rings on the stumps of those dead or dying pines recently cut).
Unfortunately they also just cut the only Himalayan white pine in the
cemetery, which had
appeared healthy just a few weeks ago.
The Carolina Wrens that were roosting in our kitchen window during the fall
and winter now have built a full-fledged nest. At least 5 eggs have been laid
over the past several days.
