[birdky] Buck Creek Float (Pulaski)

We put the kayaks in at the old Hwy. 80 bridge and took out at the 1003 bridge a distance of almost 9 miles. The banks had nearly a constant display of Virginia bluebells.

Wood Duck 24
Green Heron 1
Hawk's= Cooper's 1, Red-shouldered 2, Broad-winged 3
Eastern Phoebe 23
Vireos= White-eyed 2, Yellow-throated 5
Winter Wren 2
Ruby-crowned Kinglet 4
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher 42
Hermit Thrush 1
Warblers= Northern Parula 24, Yellow-rumped 6, Yellow-throated 46, Pine 1, Prairie 1, Black-and-white 2, Prothonotary 1, Ovenbird 4, Louisiana Waterthrush 26, Common Yellowthroat 1 and Hooded 1.


Clifty Pond: Blue-winged Teal 2, Wilson's Snipe 2, Greater Yellowlegs 3 and 
Spotted Sandpiper 1
