Kentucky lake remains high. The only way to get around Blood River today was by kayak. With 15mph north winds it might not have been the smartest way to spend the day. Great Egrets were hunkered down and seem distressed by life in general. One Little Blue Heron joined the group. Wood Ducks, Green & Blue winged Teal, American Widgeon, Horned and Pied Billed Grebes battled the white caps. No shorebirds were found only 2 Killdeer complaining over the lack of habitat.
