There is a similar roost along Hwy 31E just inside Jefferson County  also.

Shelbyville, and for the last 3 winters, a huge group of black vultures has

roosting here.  Off of exit 35 (hwy 53), about 2 miles north right  after the 
bridge over the railroad, there is a big white Sycamore tree down on  the left. 
 
About 60 to 80 of them have made this big tree their  home.  They move around 
during the day, and all converge on the tree  about an hour before dusk.  It's 
quite a sight with all the huge black  birds in the stark white tree.  I'll 
try to get some pictures of  them.
