[birdky] Re: Birdky-Bluebird Weekend and Ospreys

Hi Scottie,
I did get a response from Phil T. today.  I will be calling him.  I had 9
BB's in the yard but now only 2.  6 of these were a family that had 4 young
and fledged end of last summer and have been here since at the mealworm
feeder.  I have had an awful mockingbird chasing the BBs in the yard, but
now there are only 2 BB's.  Any insight?  Last night I saw all the BB's
sitting on a bush!  All I have to do is whistle and they'd all come and now
only 2------sad.  I have 2 pvc boxes(for the bb) paired with wooded boxes
for the terrorist house sparrows.  Now the 1 BB couple can't decide on which
box.  However, the house sparrows are trying to take all boxes.  I take them
down, move around.  I have traps in the wooden boxes.  Having BBs is
nerve-racking at times.
