[birdky] Birding suggestions?

I'll be staying in Beattyville -- on Hwy. 11, north of Booneville --  the 
first week in May and would appreciate any suggestions for birding locations  
nearby. I don't know the area, so I'd rather not travel more than 10-15 miles  
from the town. However, I'm not going to ignore a fabulous site if it's a few  
miles more away. I appreciate any help. If you respond to me directly, please  
note Ky. birding sites in the subject line so I know it's not junk email.
