[birdky] Birding Fest in S. Illinois

To all those birders interested in helping out with a Southern Illinois
Birding Blitz and also interested in seeing some cool birds.....
The Birding Fest 2005 of Southernmost Illinois will be held on 29 April - 1
May 2005 at the Cache River Wetlands Center, rain or shine.  There will be
birding competitions, an owl prowl, guided canoe trips, live bird demos,
hikes, and an evening at the Cache River Basin Vinyard & Winery (a must
see...and sample event!).  For more information please visit

Refuge at 618/634-2231.  If you haven't seen this area of Southern Illinois,
you're missing out on one of the most spectacular places in this region.
