[birdky] BirdKY: Sandhill Cranes Going South

Returning from a trip to see the green-tailed towhee in New Albany, we saw
four sandhill cranes flying across I-71. The birds were heading south,
undoubtedly to warmer climes. At this late date they'll probably get there in
time to
head back up north.

It was a beautiful winter day here in Jefferson County with many birds coming
to our feeders. There are lots of juncos and white-thr. sparrows in the yard.

Good birding in 2004,
Pat and Jane Bell
