[birdky] Berea Woods, 9/21

Little pockets of birds were scattered throughout the area this morning. A reasonable amount of activity overall. 8-9 warbler species, including a lovely Blackburnian. I have a bias toward those birds  (not many) which sing this time of year; today the hoodeds were singing a lot, at least 3 of their songs, and of course the white-eyed vireos. 3 vireo species. An rb nut, a gray-cheeked t. Pileateds were prominent. A box turtle. Another name for the woods today would be Pee Wee City.
