The broken limbs make the spotting of hawks while on the road more of a
challenge now. the woods at Berea are not as damaged as I had expected.
At least 4 Pine Warblers singing and 2 females seen; one was apparently
gathering nesting material. One beautiful adult male Sharp-shinned Hawk
, Rock Dove courting on the rock ledges, and lots of the expected.
Butterflies: lots of Zebra Swallowtails, and 4-5 Morning Cloaks.
No rattlesnakes found sunning on the rocks.
