Bee Rock/dueling songs A fun morning at Bee Rock near Somerset on Trail 503. = A Swainson's warbler and a Hooded seemed to be engaging in a game of = dueling songs. First one then the other, on and on, featuring little = song variations--alternate songs, odd little notes added or taken away = hear and there. Also nice: a YBCuckoo. Later we tried for the Brant--at = a very bad time, doomed to failure--and the only dark bird was a hybrid = mallard.
