[birdky] Beckham/Somerset trip to Bee Rock, 6/2

The nine people had magnificent views of a Swainson's Warbler that perched 25 feet away, eye level, and sang and sang (a good long time). We had 10 more nesting warbler species, including good views of a couple of worm-eating, female pine, and Louisiana--a prothonotary at the walk-bridge. Simply a lovely hike on that trail, despite the poison ivy crowding the narrow path. Wear long pants and keep an eye out too for those teeny larval-stage ticks.

Besides the one cooperative Swainson's, there were probably a half dozen more (at least) seen or heard along the part of Bee Rock trail that parallels Rockcastle River. Also tons of Acadian flies, hoodeds, yellow-throated w. No Kentuckys, no peewees, no cuckoos--which seemed a bit strange. They are there but were quiet, I s'pose.
