BARREN AREA
Ross's Goose (pond along hwy 1855)
Northern Pintail (female continues at same pond)
Red-breasted Merganser (10 at Narrows)
Pied-billed Grebe (15-20 scattered)
Common Loon (above dam)
Sandhill Crane (3500+ along 31-E near Lucas)
Herring Gull (2 Narrows)

GRIFFIN PARK

Greater White-fronted Goose (11)

The cranes along 31-E created quite a spectacle with
folks pulling off the roads to view them.  I got a
kick out of the astonished looks on their faces. 

I've also had reports in the past couple of weeks from
Wayne Tamminga with KDFW and Deryck Rodgers with the
US Army Corps of Engineers regarding a few American
White Pelicans at Barren, but I've missed them on my
recent trips.
