[birdky] Barn Shallows

Yesterday, Mar. 26, our barn swallows returned. This is the 34 th year they
have camped in our shed below our bedroom. Old friends returning for the
summer. Good to see them. Usually, we have a total of 15 to 20....A few years
ago I purchased a fairly expensive martin house and pole and set it in the
front yard, but the martins have never used it. Perhaps it is too close to the
house? 20 ft. away.
