[birdky] BKY: wolf creek dam / Falmouth CBC

Made a stop at the dam for Lake Cumberland yesterday. Highlights were a
small raft of 80 ducks consisting of mostly scaup (too far out for me to
guess which)with a hand full of mallards tossed in, 24 Bonapartes, 1
Herring, 2 Bald Eagle (both adults), 1 Phoebe, 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglets,
1 Savanah Sparrow.

Rhonda and I participated in the CBC on Ice in Falmouth on Sunday; a
portion of the area had some serious ice, at least as bad as Lexington's
ice storm two years ago this spring. Our best finds were 15 Purple
Finch, a Fox Sparrow, 2 Red-shouldered Hawks, a Pintail, a Savannah
Sparrow, and Black Vultures on a most dreary of days.
