A walk on the trail at Natural Arch in McCreary Co. mid-afternoon
produced 2 Black-throated Green Warblers, 3 Pine Warblers and a chance
encounter with a copperhead. I had stepped off the path and my foot was
heading in its direction when I saw slight movement. As soon as I
realized that spot was taken, I was more than happy to leave it to its
space. It was nestled into the dead leaves and blended in perfectly.
