[birdky] BKY: cedar waxwings

100+ cedar waxwings descended on my backyard birdbaths this morning. I had just replenished the baths with warm tap water. Suddenly there was a flutter of activity, and the trees and baths were loaded with the waxwings and robins for about thirty minutes. All enjoyed their warm water spa until the neighborhood cat loped through the yard. Such beautiful birds with the little flecks of red on their sides and the tail bands of orange and red. Also observed 130 waxwings below Ky. Dam yesterday as well as a few more flocks around Murray this past week.
