Arriving in Shawnee Park here in Louisville this morning, the Riverwalk was enveloped in fog. We wondered if there would be any birds to be seen. Proceeding down to the path the fog soon lifted and warbler after warbler flitted through the trees, making for a superb day of birding. Eleven species of warblers were foraging for food.

Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Eastern Bluebirds
Summer Tanagers (2)
Charles Dietsch and Jack Still joined our walk this morning. We were all delighted at the number of birds present in the park.
