[birdky] BKY: Swallow-tailed kite

Saturday 23rd: Well after 25 dollars worth of permit, close to 30
dollars worth of gas, and two trips to Cracker Barrel, we saw no kite.
The real kicker: while laying out at the pool in Slidel LA. My 6 year
old niece says "Mommy! There is another one of those birds they want to
see." That is what was on my answering machine when I got home. Rhonda
did get to see henslow's. I spent much of my time looking over the
numerous butterflies, and bringing bad luck to a fellow birder.=20
