This morning we went to the Riverwalk in Shawnee Park. We really had a good
morning with lots of bird activity. We saw two Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers,
our first of the season. We also had a first for the Riverwalk - an adult
male Black-throated Blue Warbler. In all we tallied 16 species of warblers.
Rose-breasted Grosbeaks were everywhere.
Highlights include -
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Gray-cheeked Thrush
Yellow-throated Vireo
Warbling Vireo
Philadelphia Vireo
Warblers -
Blue-winged
Golden-winged
