Interesting birds observed from the observation deck today from (1030 to 1230).
Am. Kestrel 2
Northern Harrier 1 (good looks at it's white rump)
Black Vultures
Turkey Vultures
G.B. Heron 12
G. Egret 1
D-C Cormorant 4
Am. Coots 20
Gadwall 6
Mallards 25
Ring-billed Gull 30
Bonaparte's Gull 1
Killdeer 6
There were 6 peeps flying together in a tight group. Saw them twice but didn't see them land for a positive ID.
Earlier in the morning a staff naturalist observed a bald eagle.
