Yesterday the 29th was a good day to be out and birding. We had four species
of warblers in our yard and four more down in the woods. We had our first
Winter Wren(s). Not sure if we were seeing more than one or the same one.
Some highlights were:
Blueheaded Vireo
Brown Thrashers
6 to 8 R-t Hummingbirds taking advantage of the Jewel Weed
Scarlet Tanagers
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Redstart
Magnolia
Chestnut-sided
Mourning Warbler
Black-throated Green
Nashvilles
Common Yellow-throats
Tennesees
Lots of Catbirds
On the 28th Jane saw a Brown Creeper.
