[birdky] BKY: Mammoth Cave

With lots of sunshine and low temperatures it was a great day (Saturday, 
April 22) to bird Mammoth Cave NP. Five of us birded MCNP from 9 to 4 EDT and 
tallied 66 species including 16 species of warblers and 4 species of thrushes. 

Some of the highlights were -
Broad-winged Hawk
Phoebe
White-eyed Vireo
Yellow-throated Vireo - 4
Red-eyed Vireo - everywhere
Rough-winged Swallows
Veery
Swainson's Thrush
Hermit Thrushes - 2
Wood Thrushes - great view of 2 feeding on the trail
Blue-winged Warblers
Parulas
Yel-rumped Warblers
Yellow-throated Warblers -  great view of 2 feeding on the ground - no 
warbler neck
Prairie Warblers
Palm Warbler
Cerulean Warbler
Black-and White Warblers
Prothonotary
Worm-eating Warbler
Ovenbirds
La Waterthrush
Kentucky Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Hooded Warblers
Chat
Scarlet Tanager
Baltimore Oriole
