[birdky] BKY: Birding in Bernheim Forest

We went to Bernheim Forest today to search for returning migrants and for
spring wildflowers. Two Louisiana Waterthrushes were singing and feeding in the
creek while phoebes were busily building their nest on the limestone cliff.
Brown thrashers, lots of pine warblers, chipping sparrows had also returned to
the forest. On our drive up to the fire tower we encountered twenty-two yellow
rumps busily feeding on something in the road, probably grit.

Both white and yellow trout lily were blooming along with bloodroot, purple
cress, and rue anemone.
