Today we went down into the "wilderness" behind our home. It is really grown up with vines, goldenrods, honeysuckle, porcelian berry, and other invasive species. Fallen logs make it difficult to walk through the area. However we did see some nice birds.
Red-shouldered hawk
Screech Owl - gray phase roosting high in honeysuckle vines
Great Horned Owl
Hummingbirds
Flicker
2 Flycatchers - probably Least
Swainson's Thrushes
Catbird
Philadelphia and Red-eyed Vireos
Nashville, Chestnut-sided, Magnolia, Black-thr. Green and Redstarts
Pat and Jane Bell
Louisville
