 BKY: Berea College Forest


A big wave of warblers came through Berea College = Forest this
morning--through the theatre area. The light conditions = weren't good--the
fog--and the birds were rather inconsiderate, tending = to stay high up.

Still, some nice birds: an rc kinglet, creepers--and these warblers: = pine,
bay-breasted, magnolia, redstart, black-throated green, tennessee, =
chestnut-sided, ovenbird. I couldn't stay very long--I'm sure there were =
more, despite the screaming group of pre-schoolers who did all they = could
to assert their territoriality.
