It was a slow but steady morning punctuated by periods of good activity for the Audubon Society of Kentucky at Berea College Woods. A good time for everyone. Lots of singing and some great views.
Warblers: Blackpoll, Blue-Winged, Parula, Yellow-Rumped, Yellow-Throated, Prairie, Black-and-White, Worm-Eating, Ovenbird, La. Waterthrush, Kentucky, Yellowthroat, Hooded, and Chat.
Vireos: White-Eyed, Red-Eyed, Yellow-Throated, Warbling, and Blue-Headed.
Others: T. Vulture, Kildeer, M. Dove, Ch. Swift, Red-Headed Woodpecker, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, Downy, Flicker, Pileated, Pewee, Phoebe, Great-Crested, Blue Jay, Crow, Chickadee, Titmouse, White-Breasted Nuthatch, Carolina Wren, Ruby-Crowned Kinglet, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, Wood Thrush, Swainson's Thrush, Robin, Catbird, Mockingbird, Thrasher, Starling, Scarlet Tanager, Cardinal, Indigo Bunting, Towhee, Chipping Sparrow, Field Sparrow, White-Throated Sparrow, Grackle, Cowbird, and Goldfinch.
