[birdky] A question about a nest

I noticed last evening that a bird had built a very artistic nest along
the conically shaped base of a sonar-powered floodlight that hangs on
the eve of our cabin in the knobs of rural Boyle County, about 8 feet
off the ground. What is interesting is that this nest appears to be made
entirely of moss/lichen. Since I didn't have a stepladder, I couldn't
peer inside to see if there were any eggs, or to check on other nesting
material. I checked sources for about ten bird species that I knew were
around to see if any built nests of moss. I found that cerulean warblers
(which I've seen about 300 ft from the cabin) and blue-gray
gnatcatchers, which I know hang out near the cabin, use moss. My guess
is that this is a gnatcatcher nest. Any other possibilities? As I say,
the nest appears to built entirely of moss/lichen, but I could be wrong,
since I can see only the exterior wall.
