I had my first Grosbeak at the feeder tonight and was so excited.
What a beautiful bird. Now I see why everyone comments when they
have them. It was a beautiful male and he sat in one of my feeders
for a very long time chowing down on black oilers.  I just
couldn't believe my eyes; I have had feeders for over 20 years and
never even seen one before.

I have always thought 4 or 5 was great, but my yard has turned
into a r-b grosbeak "hot spot" this spring. I just counted 20 of
them. It's hard to be accurate, cause they keep moving!
