[birdky] 739 pond

For the benefit of all the other Logan County birder, the field between 739 
pond and the road was planted in beans some time this week. It rained after I 
got there yesterday just long enough to make me walk back and get my scope 
cover. The shorebird mix was the same as that reported in Mark Bennett's most 
recent post, but probably fewer individuals. The last 3 Black-bellied Plovers 
simply walked away up the shoreline as I tried to approach them closer, but 
they may have gotten insulted after they thought it over. I saw them leaving 
when I was about half-way back to my truck.
