If we are using "Haiku OS" somewhere on the website, I would like to
fix it. So could you elaborate on the specific URL where you saw this?
The domain name is Haiku-OS.org, so it's in each URL actually. Other than that I don't have any textual mention at hand. It just made me think that Haiku is a colloquial abbreviation of Haiku OS.
But I see now that haiku.org fell into the hands of a domain grabber. In Germany with DENIC it was possible for my sports club to get back its domain name by supplying DENIC with the official documents of foundation; you could check with your NIC what the situation is in the US. On the other hand, getting haiku.org would require to keep haiku- os.org due to all the links, doubling the costs.
