[beports] Re: Ports not in Gentoo Portage

If anyone notices any of these ports that are included as part of
Haiku that are still not listed in the AboutSystem credits, just drop
me an email with a list of the ones you've found.  I'm going to get
updating that list until it's caught up to date, hoping to wrap it up
by the end of April as this is part of a ticket that is holding up
Alpha1.
I now have a ubuntu build system setup for building Haiku, and will be
messing around with that until I understand it all better.
I've come across a few more that might be good ports to attempt, 7zip,
python, gpsd, sox.  Some of these have already been done but are
probably behind current revision now.  I have Martin Brown's porting
book and will be reading more of it as I get time.  It's outdated but
still has good info.  Perhaps one of these days I'll be able to be of
more help.
