Hi all,
i hope this is the right spot for this.
i see you plan to port cdrecord, i have test it, but became diverent problem to port. 

i found a docu "Porting" in cdrecord tar file.
we need smake for this port, smake can port in haiku self, but its crashed. it look like a missing posix function, i have no idear, this overload my c/c++ :-(
but i talk with the autor from cdrecord (joerg schilli), he have port a cdrecord for zeta, so my idear is, when a real developer mail him and ask to help or make a port. 

can any one this do?
