Greetings all,
The Blackford CBC is scheduled for Saturday, December 31, 2011. If you'd
like to participate, please contact Bob Riggs <mailto:bob26@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>
who can give you a territory or put you with an existing team. I've
attached two versions of the CBC species list for your convenience. Both
versions are also available from the Russell County Bird Club web site on
the CBC info page. Even if you don't participate in the CBC, you might find
the species list convenient for any outing you take in or around Russell
County in the winter. The list contains all species which have been found
on the Blackford CBC at least 3 of the 15 years it has been held. Jane & I
will host the compilation for the count. You can come any time you want
after about 5:30 with chicken gumbo to be served starting around 6:00. We
look forward to seeing all participants (and spouses/significant others even
if they didn't participate in the count) again this year.
