Just a reminder that the Buchanan County Bird Club will be having its annual
outing to Burkes Garden this Saturday, Feb. 18. Those going should meet at
the Hardees in Tazewell between 7:30 and 8:00. We will caravan to Burkes
Garden at 8:00. If you have the small FRS radios, bring one so that we can
keep those in each car informed of what is being sighted ahead.
Lunch can be purchased from the Schlabach family - Soup and Sandwiches will
be served and loaves of baked bread and other goodies will be for sale.
The weather forecast is for temps in the 50's at Burkes Garden with a 70%
chance of rain, but that is not forecast to move in until late afternoon,
4:00 or later.
