[bcab] windows update/Microsoft update problem

Hi all,
This afternoon I tried to use Microsoft Update , and found that it was going to the following link: 

http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
I found that if I changed en-us to en-uk I could get in, but the system came up with the fact that it could not find the page if I used the link pasted above.
When I tried Windows Update to see if there was a difference, it seemed that I could get into the US link for some reason.
Is this a Microsoft problem or do I have to do anything to change Windows Update and Microsoft Update so that they automatically go to the link ending in en-uk rather than the one ending en-us?
