[bcab] Re: turning a eurika database into a PC database

Hi Graham,

If you have PCALIEN, you can read Eureka disks in some
systems.

However, if you send the file to us on a Eureka disk, we'll
copy it over. There's usually no charge - unless you give
us serious grief!! (Smile)

George.

hi George. what software is needed to do this? I imagine
files can be exported as comma separated from the eureka but
how do you convert them from CPM to PC format?

Graham

Yes, Graham, this can be done.

Hi all. have a client who is a piano tuner and has
an old Eureka A4. he has a database of names and addresses
on it.

can this be turned into say a comma separated file
and is there a way of making this into a format that can be
read by the PC or is he better just retyping it in?

        Cheers
