[bcab] Re: sight village an daisy books

Hi Roger,

No, they don't. There is no security built into Daisy recordings, it is not
possible since it is a group of MP3 files navigable by some HTMLO and XML
files. Not a secure system at all.

All the best

Steve

Hi Guy,

I missed Sight Village.

On the matter of RNIB talking books. Every single one I've read so far is
copyrighted against copying illegally. If you want to copy one, you should
obtain permission from the publisher. On the otherhand, if you do try
copying them anyway, I've heard that they carry protection to prevent just
that.

Roger

Did anyone see anything mega at sight village that we all ought to know
about?

And if you buy a daisy book from the rnib, can you copy it on to a victor
stream?

Guy
