Hello Simon
If you have 4 computers all hooked via Ethernet cable to one broadband
connection then you have a standard network and so you do not need anything
else to share your printer. Assuming that you are running Windows, go to the
machine that has the printer attached to it, Start menu - settings - printers
and select the printer. Right-click to get the context menu - sharing and set
it to be shared. Go to the same Printers place on anothe rmachine, select the
Add printer icon, and follow the wizard to add a network printer. You will
probablyneed the original driver CD for th printer.
Regards
Tony

Subject: [bcab] same printer for more than 1 PC?
hello list,
please does anyone know if there is a bit of hardware out there that will let
me connect the same printer up to more than 1 computer, but with out needing
the computers to be a network?
I don't have the space to have a printer by all 4 computers here, and need to
use there Ethernet ports to get them on broadband internet, so can't network
them either as they only have 1 Ethernet port each.
