Hi Phil,
This is interesting. Maybe Virgin Media's proxy is blocking it for some
reason. I only conclude this, since Barry and I are on Virgin Media, and
neither of us can get in.
Barry, if you can get at a non-VM connection, try it from there.
All the best
Steve

Hi Barry,
I tried:
http://djpaddy.is-a-geek.com:4836
and it works fine, giving me a login to a router.

Steve,
You don't' need to open the port. The router auto does this if you
specify the port to be used in remote man.
Do me a favour try one of the following,
http://djpaddy.is-a-geek.com:4836
Djpaddy.is-a-geek.com:4836
Do you get anything?
I was testing it last night and it looked like it was working both
internally and externally. Now I've got to work and tried it it's
timing out. That could be our works proxy though, but I'd like to make
sure. Please try those addresses, and anyone else that's feeling kind.
