[bcab] Re: recording internet audio.

You may need to use Total Recorder then, it monitors sound by installing a
driver into your system, this allows you to record the soundcard output in
situations where the soundcard driver itself does not present that option.

Goldwave will do it, and it perfectly accessible. However you need to
  ensure that your soundcard's
recording settings are correctly set up, if you are going to record from
  the internet (or any
  source which represents wave audio).

Try going into your Windows sound mixer's recording control settings

  Windows R, then sndvol32 /r

Set the selected channel to be wave (AKA "stereo mix" with onboard
soundcards, or "what u hear" on
  soundblasters).

Then start your internet sound source, start goldwave again and try
  recording again. It might work!

  hello list,
I am looking for an accessible program to record internet streaming audio. I
  would prefer 1 that
will record in wav, mp3 and wma, if possible, but this is not essential.
I have heard that goldwave can do it, but no matter what I do, I can't get
  goldwave to record the
internet audio, so can only assume the person who told me it could was
  wrong.
