[bcab] Re: radio query

Hi Nicola

Firstly, apologies for the very long delay. I was away for three weeks,
so am catching up.

There is an excellent program called Replay A/v, which you can download
from:

http://www.applian.com

The program costs roughly $40. There are various flavours of this
software on the site, so you need to search for Replay A/V. The excellent
thing about this software is that you can capture Real Audio streams
directly without having to use the sound card and then convert the raw
stream into MP3.

So, for example, you could log onto the Radio 4 site, find the program you
want to listen to and hit Enter to start listening to it. Then with
Replay A/V, use the URL Finder option to find the exact link for the raw
stream and then get the software to capture the stream and then convert it
to MP3.

You can also use it as a podcatcher as well, but I haven't used that
feature yet.

HTH.

Cheers

Kevin
