Grayham, search for Olympus DS50 it covers DS 40 and DS 30, download the
basic instructions, hope you have some sight as they are of no use if you
haven't. I think the website was Olympus.com but not sure as I deleted all
the info because I couldn't make any use of it.
Take time to laugh, for it is

Graham, I seem to recall the DS30 being covered pretty extensively on
BlindCoolTech, maybe about 9 months ago. You could look for material,
including some podcasts on the main blindcooltech.com page, or search the
archive page.

Hi Graham, you're right, there is very little out there. I found a
minimalist review on Epinions as follows:
Olympus ds30
by <http://www.epinions.com/user-skiggsy> skiggsy ,Mar 15 '07
Pros: Absolutely excellent look no further - I did but should not have
Cons: Complicated often ineffectual VCVA in some modes but not a problem -
Use when required
Does what it should - shame on Olympus 3 recorders the only difference
excessive price for more memory - SD cards?

Hi all.
I'm trying to find a review of the Olympus DS30 digital voice recorder,
not
necessarily from the point of view of a blind person.
I find that when I do a search for "olympus ds30" review
on google, the results are all these price comparrison stores. Often you
go
there and find no reviews at all. I accept Google needs to make money,
but
I would like my searches to pull up magazine reviews or others that may be
of good quality or impartial. Am I doing my search wrongly or is there an
alternative tool or a part of google that might be a bit less biased
towards
dealtime, bizrate buy.com, etc?
Regards
Graham
